Bras should be washed in sensitive soap that does not bleach or degrade lace and elastic, the primary components of any bra. We recommend Forever New, which is a citric acid based soap derived from fruit. It naturally whitens and brightens without bleaching. Other readily available wash products are Ivory Snow or Dreft. We do not recommend standard laundry detergents, they are too harsh.
You may launder lingerie (bras and panties) on the delicate cycle in the washing machine as long as the garments are enclosed in a netted bag. Be sure to fasten the clasp before you put them in a netted bag to prevent pull and stretch of the bra back and twisting underwires during the rinse and spin cycle.
Hand washing is also recommended and it can be easier than waiting for wash schedule. Cool water with Forever New soap actually restores elastic and lace - brightening all components and enabling elastic to return to its prescribed stretch memory. A cool water rinse can also refreshen a bra by shocking the elastic's stretch memory to return after wear. |

Never dry your fine lingerie in the dryer. The heat from the dryer ruins elastic. Allow it to air dry. |

Never over wear your bra or it will lose its structure and form - just like shoes. Rotate your bra selection to provide at least one day of rest for every day of wear. |
