Without Proper Support, Breasts Can Sag

Your breasts are composed of adipose tissue (fat), blood vessels, lymph glands, collagen fibers, capillaries and skin. Over time, without the proper support, one of the greatest laws of the Universe takes place: gravity!

Think of your breasts as a weight at the end of a rubber band. As the weight hangs, the rubber band stretches and becomes thinner. Just like the tiny ligaments and blood vessels in your breast stretch wtih the weight of your breast tissue. Now your breasts begin to sag and droop.

The delicate breast tissue starts to roll off the chest wall, over the pectoral muscle and moves into the arm and midriff area. A pendulous look begins to develop. This is not healthy. Proper bold blow to the breast area is blocked. The breast tissue under your arm is being bumped and battered with every move.

The breasts' weight can pull on your neck, causing stress and diminished blood flow to the head, even headaches! Weight and gravity combine to affect your posture. Many women try to lift the breast weight off their rib cage by shortening bra straps. The result: the bra band rides up or the straps dig painful grooves into shoulders.

If the bust is properly fitted, the breast tissue weight is taken off the ligaments. You may see that the breast begins to adhere to the chest wall. Misplaced breast tissue will get the proper blood flow to rebuild.
